φŕΐñcëςς TælΞ: Field Trip @Kushiro, Hokkaido

Well,,,here i arrived at Kushiro airport at 14:20. By the time i manage to claim my luggage n ready to get onto the bus, it was 14:42 (1.9 degree c). No how i get this pic since i was alone on the flight? well...the first JICA participant to welcome me is the one from Zimbawe. The only African in my group (11 of us).

We continued taking the airport shuttle bus to Kushiro station, where our hotel, Kushiro Royal Inn, is located.

My room is 702, meaning on the 7th floor. When i went into my room, amazingly, the set up is quite similar to IFIC room, except that it was a bit smaller and no big closet. Everything else seems the same. Oops,,one thing, it has air cleaner machine, which i first thought it was a small heater.

Sad time followed the rest of my first day. Didn't know whom to have dinner with. There were other 2 Cambodian in my group, guys. They went on their own. They even thought i were Columbian, even though i introduced myself as a Cambodian. My goodness,,,is my pronunciation too bad? or their ears have problems? well,,,but 2 of them definitely have 4 ears.

I settled down a bit, then went out for dinner. Didn't know what to eat, so ended up wit Onigiri. Taihen desuyo,,,it is so sweet to eat as rice for dinner. Anyway,, no choice (147 yen). Went to a supermarket,,,hula...cool shop selling Disney products...I had to buy some, i thought. But well, difficult to carry, since i have to move on the next 4 days. But no worry, will come back on the 6th day. lolz...The good thing is i have asked the shop owner about their 20% discount...amzingly, c said, that 20% is forever....lolzzz,,is it called a discount???? Anyway,,,don't care. Good enough, since i can buy later on next week.

Went back to my room with some stuffs,,,oops,,almost forget. The man at the station (Kushiro Station) offered me to taste sth,,,looks like candy,,,maybe made of sea shell..tasted good,,,so i just bought, thinking of sharing to people when going back...$1050 yen,,,,but the next day, i found it only 500 yen in a fish market called Washo market. lolzzzzzz...Now back to the time when i arrived at my room. Feel so lonely...sitting on the shelf near my window looking outside to the lights of the street and the church (Grace church) in front of the hotel, beautiful,,but so lonely...

Day 2, my trip started at 8:40. Well,,,my day was welcomed with a nice breakfast,,,plenty of choices,,many kinds of breads, soups, salads,,,n they even have Okonomiyaki. The Jice coordinator told me, this hotel breakfast even got a prize sth sth...Cool though.

Then we left to the City hall for a courtesy visit to the mayor. Both the mayor n vice mayor gave us their name cards. lolzzzzzzz...will it be useful for me? Should i ask him to accommodate me next time i come to Kushiro??? (will i have chance?, i doubt.) Not bad though,,have some souvenir also.

Hulah,,forget to tell, Kushiro is famous for their wetland and CRANES. Cool...we went to walk into a forest, which supposed to be a wetland, 2 m deep. But now ,,all becoming ice. Easy to walk on.

Hmmmmmm...It sounds interesting, isn't it???? Well, of course it is. But the thing is , i have never been to any lonely trip as this one. There are 5 Myanmar people, so noisy (shhh..h) and others..they have their own group. Me??? taihen dane..alone on my own. The 2 Cambodians were so buzy taking their own pics. Poor me..I have missed my daddy long-leg..If only s.o. is with me,,,i would have 1000s of pics like usual. Anyway,,, i manged to have a few pics of my own..and plenty of scenary...just shoot wildly...I also made friend with the coordinator, cuz c is my seat mate on the bus.

Too long a post..anyway,,,cuz i don't know what to do....just write tov...
